On a Wednesday afternoon in Paris Just Ines thirteen son Malcolm on their way to music lessons evoked by a mocha-colored Mercedes. The driver of the car driving by, just a bus driver has a glimpse of the badge. Malcolm is rushed to the hospital and into a coma. Justine is married to a freelance translator and the English architect Andrew Malcolm and besides, they have one daughter, nine-year-old Georgia. After accidentally hitting Andrew and Justine apart: he relies on the police investigation and normal life tries to pass off, it becomes totally disorganized and goes to investigate himself. Through the tip of a police officer Justine is on the trail of Eve, mother of an autistic son and owner of a beauty salon in Biarritz. Justine looking at her, confronts her with the drama that has played in Paris and discovers the painful truth behind Malcolm's mistake.
